Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of DayStacks, a day-planning app operated by Phil Stringer. By creating an account or using DayStacks, you agree to them. They're written in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, email support@daystacks.com.
The service
DayStacks is a time-blocking and day-planning tool. It lets you plan your day in time blocks, sync two-way with Google Calendar, capture tasks, track daily metrics, run focus sessions, and push unfinished tasks to apps like Monday.com, Todoist, Notion, Asana, and Trello. We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but like any software, it may occasionally be unavailable or change over time.
Subscriptions and billing
- DayStacks starts with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription: $17/month or a discounted yearly plan.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods. That said, if something went wrong — a billing mistake, a charge you didn't expect — email support@daystacks.com and we'll do our best to make it right.
- If pricing changes, we'll give you notice before it affects your subscription.
Acceptable use
DayStacks is for planning your day. Please don't:
- Attempt to break, probe, or circumvent the security of the service.
- Use the service to send spam or abusive content, including through accountability partner emails.
- Resell, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Share your account or use someone else's.
- Use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your data
Your time blocks, tasks, and metrics are yours. How we collect and handle data is covered in our Privacy Policy. To delete your account and data, email support@daystacks.com.
No warranty
DayStacks is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data synced from third-party services (like Google Calendar or your task apps) will always be accurate or available.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DayStacks and Phil Stringer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect. Continuing to use DayStacks after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United States.
