Privacy Policy

DayStacks is a day-planning app operated by Phil Stringer. This policy explains, in plain English, what data DayStacks collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect only what the product needs to work, we never sell your data, and there are no ads.

What we collect

• Account info. Your email address and name, provided by Google when you sign in. We do not see or store your Google password.
• What you enter. Time blocks, tasks, notes, and daily metrics you create in the app.
• Google Calendar data. If you connect Google Calendar, we read event titles and times so your calendar and time blocks stay in sync.
• Integration tokens. If you connect Monday.com, Todoist, Notion, Asana, or Trello, we store the OAuth tokens needed to push tasks to those apps. These tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our database.
• Accountability partner emails. If you add an accountability partner, we store the email address you provide so we can send them your updates. Partners can unsubscribe at any time.

How we use it

Your data is used for one thing: operating DayStacks for you. Syncing your calendar, saving your time blocks, sending the emails you asked for, and processing your subscription. We never sell your data, we never share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for advertising of any kind.

How we protect your data

All data — including any Google user data such as your Google Calendar events — is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored in our database with encryption at rest. OAuth access tokens are encrypted, access is limited to the systems that operate DayStacks, and we retain only the minimum data needed to run the features you use.

Third-party processors

We rely on a small set of services to run DayStacks. Each one only receives the data it needs to do its job:

• Google — sign-in and calendar sync.
• Stripe — payment processing. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Resend — email delivery.
• Vercel — hosting.
• Neon — database.

Google API disclosure

DayStacks' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google Calendar data to provide the calendar sync feature you enable — never for advertising, and never transferred to third parties except as needed to provide that feature.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@daystacks.com and we will delete it.

Cookies

DayStacks uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. That's it. No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics cookies, no ad pixels.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
